NHB clears 921 new projects
National Horticulture Board has cleared 921 applications for subsidy for new projects. Most of these are FPOs who will be involved with post harvest activities.

Over 1 LMT grains distributed to Corona affected population across 12 states
The grains collected under MSP by the government are to be distributed to the part of the population badly affected by Corona and other social factors. 1 LMT grains have been distributed to 2 crore members of the public as 5 Kg per person per month are to be distributed to them under government schemes.

False information about 5G spreading Corona
The government has negated the rumours and reports about the new 5G network as one of the sources of spread of Corona. The Ministry of Communications has said that 5G network has not even been tested yet.

Rs 49,965 have been transferred directly into the accounts of wheat farmers after procurement of their produce. More than half of these farmers are from Punjab and Haryana.

A Management Information System (MIS) has been launched by National Bamboo Mission which will allow the mission to track their manufacturing units, sales units, inventory, orders and other details. To aid the agarbatti industry the government has raised the import duty to 25 percent.
