  • UGC NET Admit Card 2024 Released at ugcnet.nta.ac.in; Direct Link to Download Inside

    UGC NET Admit Card 2024 Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit cards for the UGC NET 2024 exam. Candidates who have registered can now download their admit cards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18 and will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will cover 42 subjects, while the afternoon shift, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, will cover 41 subjects. The city slip, which indicates the exam location, will be released 10 days before the exam date. 

  • NIIMH, Hyderabad Designated as WHO Collaborating Centre for Traditional Medicine Research

    World Health Organization (WHO) has granted the National Institute of Indian Medical Heritage (NIIMH) in Hyderabad, a unit under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and the Ministry of Ayush, the esteemed status of a WHO Collaborating Centre (CC) for "Fundamental and Literary Research in Traditional Medicine" (CC IND-177). This designation, effective from June 3, 2024, will last for four years.

    In a ceremony held on June 14 at Raj Bhavan, Goa, Angelo Barreto, an organic cashew farmer from Curtorim, Salcete, Goa was bestowed with the prestigious ‘Best Farmer Award - 2024.’ The award was presented by the Governor of Goa, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The award ceremony took place during the two-day National Conference on Cashew titled ‘Sustainable Cashew Production: Challenges and Opportunities’ held from June 14-15, 2024.

PM Modi will disburse the installment, amounting to around Rs 20,000 crore, during his visit to Varanasi on June 18, 2024.
