  • IMD: Delhi to witness light rain & thunderstorm today

    On 15th July Thursday, the India Meteorological Department predicted light rain & thunderstorm over parts of Delhi, Karna, Kashganj, Aligarh, Atrauli, Hastinapur and other nearby areas in the regions. Delhi has received its first rain of monsoon season on 14th July Tuesday, 16 days after the actual date of 27th June.

  • PM Modi: Skill Development is National Requirement, Foundation for “Aatmanirbhar Bharat”

    On 15th July, Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said skill development of youth of the new generation is a national requirement and a major foundation for the Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The challenges posted to the world by Covid-19 Pandemic increased the importance of World Youth Skill Day.

  • Jal Jeevan Mission: 1 lakh villages & 71 districts get “Tap Connections”

    New Delhi: The director of Jal Jeevan Mission, Bharat Lal said, Despite of pandemic, 71 districts, 824 blocks, 50,309-gram panchayats & 1,00,275 villages have the tap connections in each house after two years of launching “Har Ghar Jal” mission.

  • Punjab government waives off Rs 590 crore loans for laborers & farmers

    Chandigarh: On Wednesday 14th July, the government of Punjab announced loan waiver of Rs 590 crore under farm debt waiver scheme for laborers and landless farming community. The cheques to be issued at state level function on 20th August.

     

  • Fuel Prices Increase Once Again By Rs. 34 Paise

    After the break of two days, there is another hike in fuel prices across the country. According to prices shared by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the petrol price has increased by Rs 31 to 39 paise. On the other hand, diesel prices have gone up dropping by small margin on 12th July, 2021 and it is increased by Rs 15 to 21 paise across the country. In Mumbai, the petrol has gone up by Rs 34 paise & retails at Rs 107.54 per litre. Meanwhile, the diesel prices in the city went up by Rs 15 paise and stands at Rs 97.45 per litre.

  • Aquaconnect raises $4 million in pre-Series A funding

    Aqua farmers network Aquaconnect raised $4 million in a pre-Series. A round led by Rebright Partners and 6G Capital also participated in this round, along with existing investors Omnivore and HATCH. The startup plans to use the funds to strengthen their Geographic Information System-enabled product, scale their farm advisory, financial services, and accelerate the volume of exports flowing through the platform.
