Parle Agro Launches Flavored Milk “Smoodh”

A well-known and reputable beverage company Parle Agro has entered into the dairy segment by launching flavoured milk under the brand name “Smoodh.”  

The CMO and Joint Managing Director of Parle Agro, Nadia Chauhan said, “Years of dedicated R&D have gone into developing this incredible product. As one of the India’s leading beverage companies that has always been led by innovations, it has been a conscious effort to bring Indian consumers high-quality and rich-in-taste products at the best value. Smoodh is in sync with this very vision.”

The branded flavoured milk market of India is around Rs. 800 crores. Parle Agro anticipates the market to grow to around Rs. 5000 crore by the next four years.  

About Smoodh flavours 

According to company officials, Smoodh milk will be available to the consumers in Toffee Caramel and Chocolate Milk flavours in 85 ml tetrapack cartons. They are priced at Rs. 10.  

As per a statement by the company, “Smoodh is the only brand in the flavoured milk category priced at an incredible value of Rs. 10. This gives Parle Agro the opportunity to break the pricing barrier, a factor that has hampered the growth of the flavoured milk category in India.”
