DeHaat Signs MoU with FPOs Promoted by APMAS in Patna
DeHaat had an MoU signing ceremony with several FPOs at its Head Office in Patna today. These FPOs operate in the districts of Bihar and are promoted by Mahila Abhivruddhi Society, Andhra Pradesh (APMAS). The MoU was signed by Dr. Dinesh Chauhan, Vice President, New Initiatives, DeHaat, and the Directors of the respective FPOs.

India to Witness Significant Drop in Kharif Crop Output: Experts
The area under cultivation of Kharif crops like rice, urad, and tur is down by an average of 52.98% from last year, so according to experts, this year, the output of these crops could be significantly lower. This came as a warning by experts at the end of the sowing season as unpredictable rainfall has also caused crop damage in several areas.

NFDB Hosts 9th Governing Body meeting in New Delhi
Today, the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) held its 9th Governing Body meeting at the NASC Complex's Lecture Hall in New Delhi. The meeting was presided over by Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying. The meeting was attended by Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying and Vice Chairman of the governing body, as well as Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, special invitee, and other officials of the governing body, Member (Agriculture), Niti Ayog.

Over 11,000 crop residue management machines go missing in Punjab
The Punjab government has launched an investigation into a Rs 150-crore scam involving the distribution of crop residue management machines to farmers during the previous dispensation led by Congress. Agriculture Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said in a statement on Wednesday that a total of 11,275 machines were not found with the beneficiaries during a physical verification and ordered an investigation.
