Chirag Paswan Highlights Vital Role of Food Processing Sector, Launches World Food India 2024 Website and Mobile App
The Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan, along with Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Railways, Ravneet Singh, launched the website and mobile application for the much-anticipated World Food India 2024 to advance India’s food processing sector. This event marks the precursor to the 3rd edition of the nation’s largest food event, slated to take place from September 19-22, 2024.

India's Seafood Exports Reach Record High by Volume in FY 2023-24
India's seafood industry achieved a significant milestone in the financial year 2023-24, reaching an all-time high in export volume. Despite facing various challenges in major export markets, the country successfully shipped 17,81,602 metric tons (MT) of seafood valued at Rs 60,523.89 crore (USD 7.38 billion).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new campus of Nalanda University at Rajgir, Bihar, marking a significant milestone in India's educational and cultural revival. The University, established as a collaborative effort between India and East Asia Summit (EAS) countries, saw attendance from several eminent dignitaries, including Heads of Missions from 17 countries. During the ceremony, the Prime Minister also planted a sapling, symbolizing growth and sustainability.

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to run its mobile application for farmers called IFFCO Kisan Uday. Built on OCI as a cloud-native application, the application provides farmers with an easy way to book, view, and manage drone-based sprayings of IFFCO Nano Fertilizers.
