Dr. Harsh Vardhan says "More population more resources"
Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare expressed his views about population on Television. He said “More people require more resources, and as the population increases, the earth’s resources deplete. The population boom has been affecting the planet and the human race in many adverse ways. People in developing countries like India, feel the impact of environmental problems more acutely.” He also said "With commitment and perseverance, India can achieve the goal of population stabilization and advancing the development goals of the country.”

Illegal Gutkha manufacturer arrested
Gutkha product named "Suhana Gold" and "SHK", which is available in market, has not been registered with government and has not paid the duties. Phool Chand Yadav, believed to be the manufacturer of this product has been arrested, with liability of approximately 5.9 crores, by Anti-Evasion officers of Central Tax Delhi.

Protestors planning new ways to protest
As the days go by and after nearly three months of protests there is no sign of the farmers stopping their protests. They have refused to accept any suggestions from the government and insist on stopping the protest only when all of their demands are accepted. Having adopted methods like "rail roko" protest the farmers and their leaders are planning new and different methods for protesting.

Chhagan Bhujbal tests positive for Corona
Chhagan Bhujbal, Maharashtra Minister, has tested positive for Corona. He has tweeted in Marathi "My corona test is positive. All those who have come in contact with me in the last two or three days should test their corona. My health is good and there is no reason to worry. All citizens should take proper care of the corona."

Almost 15% of India's population, 21.15 Crore, have been tested for Corona infection so far, according to government statistics. This has been possible due to the testing infrastructure that India possesses.

Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal today met the farmers protest leaders at the Delhi assembly. He agreed with the farmers and supported them in repealing the three farm laws which the leaders believe to be anti-farmer.
