• Valvoline Launches Industry-first Engine oil – All Fleet Turbo Plus for High HP Tractors

  The industry's first engine oil manufacturer, Valvoline, has introduced Valvoline All Fleet Turbo Plus (Haulage Expert) for heavy use of high HP tractors on roads and in other agrarian-related operations after realizing the adaptability of Indian tractors and their wide range of applications.

• World Bank to Invest Rs 3.5 crore to Help Goa Achieve 100% Renewable Energy Target by 2050

  The World Bank will invest Rs 3.5 crore to establish a framework for the Green Climate Fund to support the Goa government in meeting its 2050 goal, providing a significant boost to the state's transition to 100% renewable energy. The World Bank has guaranteed the state that it will receive the necessary expertise to meet this goal.

• Ghana Opens Modern Maize Processing Facility in Sekyere-Central District of Ashanti Region

  Ghana's President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has inaugurated an ultramodern maize processing factory at Nsuta-Kwagye in the Sekyere-Central District of the Ashanti Region, as part of the 'One District, One Factory' initiative. The facility's construction began in January 2020, and it will be finished and handed over in June 2022, equipped with cutting-edge processing equipment such as a maize drying plant and a grit milling machine. It has a backup generator and a mechanised borehole to supply water to the factory, as well as a warehouse, fully furnished office space for staff, a conference room, a laboratory, and a workers' canteen.

• TraceX Collaborates with Ghanaian Firm ‘Univision’ to Offer Traceability Solutions in Africa

  TraceX Technologies, a blockchain-powered traceability platform that enhances food and supply chain transparency, has forayed into Africa by partnering with Ghana-based Agritech consulting firm Univision to offer end-to-end traceability in the agriculture supply chain. Through this partnership, TraceX and Univision will bring the entire agriculture ecosystem under one platform. From smallholder farmers in Ghana to financial institutions that provide loans to farmers, all members of the agri supply chain will be able to interact and transact under one platform.

• Delhi Government Launches SAMRIDDHI 2022-23, One-time Property Tax Amnesty Scheme

  The Strengthening and Augmentation of Municipal Revenue for Infrastructure Development in Delhi Initiative, or SAMRIDDHI, will begin on October 26 and conclude on March 31, 2023, with no further extensions. Residential property owners only need to pay the principal property tax for the current year and the previous five years under the plan. According to an official statement, owners of commercial properties may pay the principal owed for the last six years and receive a waiver of any past-due fees, including penalties and interest.
