ICAR-NRRI Organized Virtual Training Programme on “Pension & Retirement Benefits”
The ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack organized a Virtual Training Programme on “Pension & Retirement Benefits” from 18th - 20th April, 2022. Dr. A.K. Vyas, ADG, Human Resource Management Unit, ICAR highlighted the importance of a positive & conducive environment, empathy and a positive attitude towards the Retired Persons. G.P. Sharma, Director (Finance), ICAR Headquarters stressed on the timely payment of Pensions & Retirement benefits.

IMD predicts heavy rain, thunderstorm in Jharkhand for the next 24 hours
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued rainfall and thunderstorm alert for Jharkhand for the next few days due to Nor'wester activity. Officials told that a cyclonic circulation was prevailing over southeast Uttar Pradesh & its neighbouring areas at 1.5 km above the mean sea level.

The Tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed by the ICAR-Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research, Bhimtal, Uttarakhand with the M/s. Das and Kumars Pvt. Ltd., Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and the ICAR-Agrinnovate, New Delhi for the Technology Transfer of “Captive Maturation and Multiple Breeding of Golden Mahseer” on 23rd April, 2022
