• Over 57 crore benefit from PMGKAY

  Under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, free foodgrains have been distributed since May and into June, to over 57 crore beneficiaries.

• Edible oil situation

  The government has said that the price of edible oil in the international market is going down, hence there is no need to reduce the tax on their imports. Government will keep an eye on the situation and will act accordingly.

• 19.8 crore transaction for migrant workers

  About 19.8 portability transactions have taken place during the current Pandemic. One Nation One Ration Card scheme has come to the aid of these migrant workers.

• BRICS countries to promote traditional medicines

  India has taken initiative in promoting the traditional medicines in the BRICS countries.

• A dedicated window on GeM for Bamboos

  Bamboos will be available on a dedicated window of the Government e-Marketplace portal. Bamboo merchants now have a platform just for Bamboos to promote and sell their products. This portal has worldwide online reach and showcases work of all traditional and modern Indian products.
