  • India plans to create Digital Ecosystem for Farm Sector

    As a part of the India’s plan to create a digital ecosystem for the farm sector, a centralized database Agri Stack, of 8 crore farmers will be ready by December by linking their all relevant details including the land records. This database will generate unique IDs such as Aadhar for the land-owning farmers in due course. The database of around 5.5 crore farmers have already been created and it will be increased to 8 crore farmers by December along with the help of a state government.

  • IMD Predicts Heavy Rains in many States till 11th Sep

    The India Meteorological Department predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states till the 11th of September. In the latest update weather update, IMD said that the enhanced rainfall activity is likely to continue over west & northwest India till 1th September over, Vidarbha region, Telangana, Coastal & North Interior Karnataka on 7th September (Tuesday).

  • PM Modi: For Nation’s Development Equitable & Inclusive Education is Important

    On 7th September (Tuesday) Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that “for the development of any nation, the education should be both equitable & inclusive. The country in including talking books & audiobooks as part of education. Based on the Universal Design of Learning, an Indian sign language dictionary has been developed and for the very first time in the country, the Indian Sign language is being included as a subject in the curriculum”.

     

  • Systemic Inventory of Phosphatic Fertilizers in India Running Slow

    The systemic inventory of a phosphatic fertilizer in the Indian markets has been dipped sharply, which is a cause of concern for the upcoming Rabi Season. It was driven by a decline in the imports driven by elevated international prices & limited availability in the international markets, while the domestic demand remained stable. The ICRA expects the government of India to alleviate stress on the industry through the increase in subsidy rates under the NBS scheme over the course of 1 month to ensure adequate availability for the upcoming Rabi Season.
