Apiculture

The term "Apiculture" is derived from the Latin word apis, which means bee. Apiculture, or beekeeping, is the care and management of honey bees for honey and wax production. Bees are commercially bred in apiaries, which are locations where a large number of beehives can be kept. Apiaries are often built in regions with sufficient bee pastures, such as areas with flowering plants.
