Flora

In biology, the term "flora" refers to the plants that may be found in a certain area or at a particular geologic phase, such as the flora of North America. There are several synonyms for the word, including vegetation, leafage, foliage, and herbage.

Flora is the collective term for the local plant life. Grasslands, woods, blooming and non-flowering plants, and trees are a few examples of flora.
