Pastoralism

It is a type of animal husbandry in which herds of domestic animals are released onto large tracts of land of vegetative cover, known as pastures, for grazing, traditionally by partially or fully nomadic people who move around with their herds and generally in places where environmental conditions such as aridity, poor soil, and extreme temperatures make growing crops difficult or impossible.
