Dr. K. Alagusundaram, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Engineering & Natural Resource Management) released the Logo of ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal. Dr. Alagusundaram was on his visit to the Institute.
During the visit, he applauded the Institute for its recent endeavor of receiving the prestigious Sardar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award - 2018. The DDG also reviewed the Institute’s cadre strength.
He encouraged the scientists to work to develop the "On the go soil health analysis and fertilizer applicator". Dr. Alagusundaram encouraged the young scientists for concentrating more on innovative research works. He urged the employees to do the service to the nation and go along with the system for a better output.
The DDG also had an interaction with the progressive farmers and Deputy Director (Agriculture), Bhopal.
Earlier, Dr. Ashok K. Patra, Director, ICAR-IISS briefed about the Institute’s recent achievements including the different project activities and developmental works that are being carried out.
