The 'Organic Mahotsav 2019' will be held from 29th November to 1st December at Shilpgram (a craft village built by West Zone cultural Centre) in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The main objective of 'Organic Mahotsav 2019' is to create a positive & energizing environment wherein people can talk about organic agriculture, food culture and its importance on a local, national and global level.
The convention provides a platform for the organic farmers from all across the country to learn, share & grow. Prominent scientists, policymakers, seed savers, innovators come together to bring the developments in organic farming to a common platform – the ultimate objective being growth of Indian farmers.
The convention is the 7th in series including the last one that took place along with Organic World Congress. Around 3000 registered farmer participants and over 10000 visitors are expected to participate in the event. Through this convention, organic farming community from various places will talk about the latest science related to organic systems & farm worker health and also explore ways that organic is advancing the agenda of fair trade & workers rights.
