Good News for Farmers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will disburse the 9th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, popularly known as PM-Kisan tomorrow (9 August) at 12.30 pm through video conferencing, according to an official release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Sources said that an amount of over Rs. 19,500 crores will be transferred to around 9.75 crores farmers as PM Kisan 9th Installment.
PM Modi will also address the nation and interact with the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana via video conference tomorrow. Narendra Singh Tomar, Union agriculture Minister will also be present during the event, the official release mentioned.
The official release further said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the next instalment of financial benefit under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on August 9, 2021 at 12:30 PM via video conferencing. This will enable the transfer of an amount of over Rs. 19,500 crores to more than 9.75 crores beneficiary farmer families”.

Just go to farmers corner on the homepage and look for Beneficiary Status link and click it. After that fill in the required details and Submit. PM Kisan status will appear on the screen

Farmers can enrol themselves for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by self-registering through official website and at the nearest Common Service Centers, a network of public-services offices. They can also apply at the local revenue offices.

About PM Kisan Scheme
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the most successful and beneficial scheme for farmers, launched by Modi Government. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 6,000 is transferred to the farmers every year in four monthly instalments of Rs. 2,000 each.
The money is directly deposited into the bank accounts of farmers. So far, a total of over Rs. 1.38 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer families and the last instalment of PM-Kisan Scheme was disbursed to 90 million farmers on 14 May 2021.
