To meet the shortage of electricity and to promote renewable energy, the government has been working to make solar energy accessible to the common people. In order to become self-reliant in the matter of electricity, many schemes are being run at the state along with the centre level. To lessen the water problems in farms and promote irrigation across every field, the government has focused on solar pump yojana and distribution of solar panel to the farmers.
Some people are unable to take advantage of this due to the high cost involved in installing solar energy panels. In view of this problem, the Haryana government is giving a sizeable subsidy to install solar power panels.
Haryana Renewal Energy Department Agency (HAREDA) K. Scientific Engineer P.K. Nautiyal said that the state government has given subsidy on solar panel and farmers can easily avail all the benefit from Manohar Jyoti Yojana.
