The Bihar government is providing subsidy under the 'Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme' to promote Goat Rearing in the state. This plan is for the financial year 2020 - 21.

If you are thinking of starting animal husbandry business, then you can think of goat rearing or goat farming. It is one of the most profitable business at present. The biggest advantage of goat rearing is that the market is locally available for this. Also there are many goat breeds in India that is used for milk and meat. 

Keeping these things in mind, the Bihar government is providing subsidy under the 'Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme' to promote Goat Rearing in the state. This plan is for the financial year 2020 - 21.

What is 'Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme'?

Under the 'Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme', people of all sections of the state will get a Goat Rearing Subsidy. However, the subsidy amount will be different as per the 'Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme' in the financial year 2020-21.

Terms and conditions of Integrated Goat and Sheep Development Scheme:

The beneficiary should have a model project report. In which the purchase, cost, housing cost of goat and dividend received on selling goat have to be shown.

For 40 goats, the desired land should be 3600 square meters. At the time of applying, the beneficiary will be required to affix a 3600 sqm rent receipt / LPC / lease agreement / .

The beneficiary will have to invest 20 lakh rupees on his own behalf.

The beneficiary must get training for goat rearing. For this, the beneficiary has to attach the certificate of training in goat farming at the time of application.

Applicants are scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, so they are required to attach caste certificates at the time of application.

Photo / Aadhaar Card / Voter ID to the beneficiary at the time of application Card / PAN card / Residence proof to be affixed.
