UK is one of the world’s top chemical-producing nations, with over 3000 businesses that manufacture or distribute chemical products. Chemicals are one of the most important exporting sectors for the UK with over 60% of UK chemical companies exporting what they make to the world.

India, on the other hand, ranks sixth in the import and ninth in the export of chemicals and chemical products globally (excluding pharmaceutical products).

The webinar will give an overview of the chemicals sector in the UK, focusing on the strengths of the sector, the movement toward sustainable and green chemistry, opportunities for collaboration between UK and Indian businesses, as well as the world-class R&D and support on offer, with Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) and the wider ecosystem.
