Kidney illness has been considered the most ignored chronic condition. A multitude of communicable and noncommunicable illnesses result in renal problems and many individuals who have kidney disease lack access to care. Increasing economic and health inequities, migration, demographic shift, dangerous working conditions and environmental risks, natural disasters and pollution may debacle the initiatives to lower the morbidity and mortality from kidney disease.
If risk factors are identified early, acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease can be prevented and, if kidney disease is diagnosed early, worsening of kidney function can be slowed or averted by inexpensive interventions, several of which are on the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) list for non-communicable disease management.
With the paramount objectives to cascade awareness and disseminate wisdom about managing kidney care and preventive and curative actions to gain health benefits and reduce other risk factors to lead a healthier, happier, and prosperous life, under the Illness to Wellness campaign, ASSOCHAM, on the Eve of “World Kidney Day” is organizing a webinar on “Kidney Care: Preventive and Curative Actions” scheduled on Wednesday, 9th March 2022 from 2.30 PM To 3.30 PM.
