ASSOCHAM in association with CMAM Association of India is organizing a webinar on Micronutrient Deficiency Among Children scheduled to be organized virtually on December 22, 2021, at 3 PM. The government prioritized identification and screening of SAM children as a priority area during POSHAN Maah 2020.
Why to Attend?

The government has identified that the absence of micronutrient and energy content in dietary practices as one of the important causes of undernutrition, and specifically micronutrient deficiency.

In POSHAN Maah 2021, there has been a focus on the drive for the identification of SAM and the distribution of nutritious food for them. The government is also focusing on involving the private sector in the fight against malnutrition.

The private sector can support the government in- creating awareness, enabling Jan Andolan for government’s efforts, supporting the distribution of nutritional kits in high burden districts, providing IEC material, facilitating interventions of state ministries/departments.
