Food Poisoning generally occurs due to a contagious virus or bacteria present in the toxic food. These

toxins or bacteria are found in spoiled food. However, food poisoning can be cured in a mild stage at home. Even it can be spread through unfiltered water not only because of the food. It is a very common virus and affects more than 10 million Indians each year. Food poisoning cannot be transmitted from person to person.

It’s our responsibility to check the place where are we eating. We need to follow basic hygiene before eating food. Food poisoning mostly happens when we eat street food or in a restaurant.

Basil Leaves:

Basil leaves are the great herbs that have been using for decades. Basils are the best option to soothe your discomfort abdomen pain. It has anti-microbial properties that fight with micro-organisms. The juice of basil extracts or a basil tea can aid the toxicity by drinking it more than 2 times a day. Even these leaves can be eaten raw but after a wash.

Garlic:

Garlic is the most common herb which grows around the world. It helps you in several health issues due to its antibacterial & antifungal properties. Garlic relieves diarrhea and abdominal pain which makes you feel dizzy. You can swallow one clove of garlic with water and it will kill the fungal inside.

Cumin:

Cumin is the herb that contains all the goodness in it. Half tablespoon of cumin or jeera should be boiled in half a glass of water. Also, you can boil it in a large amount then put it for the later use. Cumin drink will help you in soothing and relieving the digestion.

Yogurt & Fenugreek seeds:

Yogurt is cold in nature with antibacterial properties. And fenugreek seeds use for the stomach cramps, indigestion. You can take one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds and mix it in a bowl with yogurt.

Consuming it twice a day will give you an immediate effect.

Honey:

Honey is also rich in properties like antifungal and antiviral which effectively treat the symptoms of food poisoning. This can heal an upset stomach as well as controls the excessive production of acid in the stomach.
