Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior (M.P.) invites online applications for filling the following posts of Directors on a tenurial basis of three three years.

Position Overview

  • Name of the post: Director Research Services / Director Extension Services / Director Instructions & Student Welfare

  • Number of Posts: 03

  • Scale of Pay: Pay Level 14 (Pre-revised Rs. 37,400-67,000 + AGP-10,000)

Qualifications and experience:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree in the relevant subject (any branch of Agriculture/Horticulture Science) or in a related field from a recognized University.

  • Working experience of a minimum 5 years as Professor/ Principal Scientist or an equivalent position in the prescribed pay scale in any branch of Agriculture/ Horticulture Science or related field with a minimum total experience of 15 years not below the ranks of Assistant Professor or in an equivalent position

  • Master's degree in any branch of Agriculture /Horticulture or in related field with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent OGPA from a recognized University.

  • Significant contribution in agricultural research/ teaching/ extension education (supported by published work/innovations).

Age Limitation and Other Information

  • Age Limit:

    Maximum age: 60 years for external candidates and 62 years for RVSKVV/JNKVV employees.

  • Application Fee:

    Rs 1000/- (General/OBC) and ₹500/- (SC/ST/PwD). Payment is to be made online.

  • Mode of Application: Applications to be submitted online via the RVSKVV Portal by 27 January 2025 (5:00 PM).

  • Profile Creation: Register using a valid email and mobile number. Upload required documents (PDF format, max size: 4 MB).

  • Document Submission: Upload clearly visible documents, including: Latest photograph and signature (jpg/png) and Certificates of qualification, experience, and caste (if applicable).

  • Final Submission:  Ensure all information is accurate and complete before final submission. Corrections are not allowed post-submission.

Selection Process:

  • Screening & Evaluation: Applications will be evaluated based on a scorecard system.

  • Interview Call Ratio: Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:3 to 1:8 based on merit for interviews.

  • Minimum Score Requirement: Unreserved: 50%, OBC/EWS/PwD: 45%, SC/ST: 40% in the scorecard evaluation.
