Qualifications and Eligibility
Project Scientist II: 1 post

PhD in fisheries science with expertise in fish genetics, breeding, biotechnology, aquatic animal health, or fisheries resource management, OR
-
PhD in marine biology, ocean science and technology, zoology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biological sciences, or life sciences.

Three years of research and development experience in academic or science and technology settings.

Familiarity with fish cell culture, molecular techniques, fish taxonomy, and onboard experience, along with publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
Project Scientist-I: 1 post

PhD in fisheries science with a focus on fisheries resource management, fish genetics and breeding, or fish biotechnology, OR

PhD in marine biology, ocean science and technology, zoology, biological sciences, or life sciences.

Proficiency in fish cell culture, molecular techniques, and fish taxonomy, as well as onboard experience and a record of research publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
Project Associate-I: 3 post

M.F.Sc. with a specialization in fisheries resource management, fish genetics and breeding, fish biotechnology, aquatic animal health, or fish pathology and microbiology.

M.Sc. in marine biology, ocean science and technology, zoology, biological sciences, or life sciences is acceptable.

Proficiency in integrative fish taxonomy, fish cell culture, and molecular techniques, as well as field experience in marine exploration and documentation or onboard experience.

A track record of research publications in peer-reviewed international journals is preferred.
Technical Assistant: 1 post

B.F.Sc or a B.Sc in Zoology, or a B.Voc in Aquaculture or Biotechnology, or a B.E/B.Tech in Bioinformatics or Computer Science.

Experience in fish sampling and basic laboratory work, as well as proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, CorelDraw, Photoshop, and related software.
Field Worker: 2 post

Qualification till Intermediate (10+2).

Experience in fish sampling and basic laboratory work, as well as prior working experience in nationalized laboratories.

Possessing a Diploma or Certificate course in computer science is preferred.
