Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) Vacancies. the recruitment drive is being conducted to fill in a total of 35 vacancies. Interested candidates are recommended to go through the below-mentioned details before applying. The last date for submission of the application is June 30, 2023.
RBI Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be either:
-
a citizen of India, or
-
a subject of Nepal, or
-
a subject of Bhutan, or
-
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
-
a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Recruitment 2023: Age limit
Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years. Only candidates born between 02/06/1993 and 01/06/2003 (inclusive) are eligible to apply for the position. Relaxations as per the government rules will be provided.
RBI Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer (Civil): Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Junior Engineer (Electrical): Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with a minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/ PwBD) or a Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/ PwBD).
RBI Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Online examination and the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) will be used for selection. The Online Examination will be for 300 marks and is scheduled to be held on July 15, 2023.

RBI Recruitment 2023: Emoluments
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹33,900/- per month (i.e., ₹20,700/- plus nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time.
