The positions include one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Young Professional II (YP II) under the externally funded ICAR project titled “Enhancing climate resilience and ensuring food security with genome editing tools”.

Emoluments: ₹31,000 + HRA per month for the 1st and 2nd year; ₹35,000 per month + HRA for the 3rd year

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men; 40 years for women

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry/Genetics & Plant Breeding/Botany or any relevant discipline of life sciences with desirable experience.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in basic molecular techniques, genetic transformation of crops, genome editing of plants, plant tissue culture, and scientific writing.
