The Uttar Pradesh Directorate of Higher Education has notified the Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Services Commission about 917 assistant professor positions in 37 subjects that are vacant in various institutions (UPHESC). According to a senior state higher education department official, the Prayagraj-based commission has also posted an advertisement for the selection of the agency that will be responsible for handling various parts of the recruiting process according to established norms.
If everything goes according to plan, online applications could be available in July. He stated that the procedure of handling online applications, performing the written test, interviewing eligible qualified individuals, and finalizing the recruitment's ultimate result will all be handled by the chosen agency.
By May 31, the commission is looking for proposals from interested organizations. Officials said that after the agency is chosen, preparations for receiving online applications and processing them will take a month.
The commission has received requests for vacant positions, according to UPHESC secretary Vandana Tripathi. Currently, the commission is accepting applications for 2001 assistant professor positions in 47 subjects under advertisement number 50.
The final selection results for numerous disciplines have been announced, and the selected applicants have been assigned to institutions. Officials have stated that the recruitment process will be concluded by July.
The commission has previously experienced a technical issue with the online application submission process for advertisement number 50.
This time, the commission intends to address those flaws to complete the online application procedure on time.
