Eligibility Criteria for Agniveer SSR:
Candidates would join the highly technological organisation as Agniveer SSRs. Agniveers would work in the Navy's Aircraft Carriers, Guided Missile Destroyers and Frigates, Replenishment Ships, and other extremely complex submarines and aircraft.
Candidates must have passed their Class 12th Board Exams or their 10+2 exams with Mathematics, Physics, and either one of the subjects chosen from Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science from an educational board recognized by the Ministry of Education in order to apply for the position of Agniveer SSR.
Eligibility Criteria for Agniveer MR:
Candidates might apply for three positions under Agniveer MR: chef, steward, and hygienist. Candidates for the position of Agniveer MR Chef will need to prepare meals according to the menu and account for rations.
Candidates for Agniveer MR Steward would receive training in waitressing, housekeeping, accounting for cash, wine and stores, menu creation, and more. Finally, candidates for the position of Agniveer MR Hygienist would be expected to maintain cleanliness in restrooms and other locations.
All Agniveers would also be required to complete firearms training in addition to their assigned tasks for the "efficient operation of the organization."
According to the official website, in order to apply for the positions, individuals must have passed either the Matriculation Examination or the 10th grade from Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Candidates are urged to keep in mind that the age restriction applies to both positions. Applicants must be between the ages of 17.5 and 21. The maximum age has been raised to 23 years as a one-time waiver for the Agniveer 2022 class.
