The Bar Council of India (BCI) is expected to announce the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 results shortly. AIBE 19 exam was conducted on December 22, 2024, across 50 cities in India. Following the exam, candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections to the answer key until January 10, 2025. The final answer key is now awaited along with the results.
The examination comprised 100 multiple-choice questions covering 19 legal subjects, including Constitutional Law, Family Law, the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and Intellectual Property Law. To qualify for AIBE 19, general and OBC candidates must secure at least 45% marks, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to score a minimum of 40%.
The BCI addressed concerns related to discrepancies between the Question Paper (QP) booklet numbers and OMR answer sheet serial numbers during the AIBE-XIX exam. In an official notice, the BCI assured candidates that the evaluation would be based on the Question Paper set code written by candidates on their OMR sheets. The notice stated, “There is no need to worry about any mismatch between the QP booklet number and OMR answer sheet serial number.”
