Department of Consumer Affairs, under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, has announced the recruitment process for two vacancies for the position of Members in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). This commission operates as a quasi-judicial body established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, with its headquarters in New Delhi.
Interested candidates can apply for these vacancies exclusively through the online portal. The selection process will adhere to the qualifications, eligibility criteria, and terms set out in the Tribunal Reforms Act and the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021.
A Search-Cum-Selection Committee, established under the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021, will be responsible for reviewing applications. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for a personal interview, with the final decision being made through a comprehensive evaluation process.
