Dushyant Chautala, Haryana Deputy CM has said that the state government will soon launch a job portal for facilitating employment opportunities for the youth. MNCs and other companies would also get benefits by the portal as they can do recruitment of the qualified and trained workforce for their industries.
Adding to it, the Deputy Chief Minister, who held a meeting with officials of several departments' such as the labour and employment, industry and commerce, skill development and industrial training, said the agenda of the meeting was to increase job opportunities in Haryana given the current situation.
Dushyant stated that the government is considering of allowing the industry operations on vacant land of about 500 acres in villages so as to offer more employment opportunities to the youth. As much as 30 lakh people are set to join back for work in the industries in Haryana because the units have slowly restarted their operations except those in the containment zones.
Haryana Job Portal Important Details
The Haryana government would start the job portal to inform the local youth with available vacancies. The employment department is working on this, he stated. The government would give the details of labour & job applicants to the companies through the job portal. The companies can also put up their needs for a particular kind of workforce on this portal so that the youth can apply for these jobs.
Dushyant added, as a large number of labourers have come to their states amid covid-19 pandemic, there would be much job opportunities in the private sector such as of security guard industry etc. A large number of youth apply for job in the Army & police in Haryana and till the time they get these jobs they too can work in the private sector.
