Himachal Pradesh Governor Delivers Special Lecture on 'Amrit Kaal ka Bharat' at EDII

The Governor of Himachal Pradesh gives a special lecture on the 'Amrit Kaal ka Bharat' at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India in Ahmedabad.

Shiv Pratap Shukla, Himachal Pradesh Governor, delivered a lecture on 'Amrit Kaal Ka Bharat' at EDII in Ahmedabad on October 8, in partnership with the India Think Council. Attendees included Dr. Sunil Shukla, Dr. Milind Kamble, and Saurabh Pandey.

In his lecture on 'Amrit Kaal Ka Bharat,' Shiv Pratap Shukla highlighted India's role as an innovative hub and praised the government's initiatives in fiscal and tax reforms, education, and inclusive growth. He lauded public participation in nation-building, referring to it as 'Amrit Kaal.' Shukla emphasized entrepreneurship as vital for a thriving economy, embodying innovation, risk-taking, and the drive to create value. He expressed hope that 'Amrit Kaal' would empower youth, women, artisans, and citizens through skill development, modern digital techniques, and global market access, fostering progress and inclusivity in India's growth journey.

Dr Sunil Shukla, at the EDII event, highlighted India's progressive policies and EDII's commitment to 'Amrit Kaal ka Bharat.' EDII collaborates with government departments to create opportunities for diverse groups. Dr Milind Kamble praised the focus on education in 'Amrit Kaal,' citing the New Education Policy 2020's role in producing skilled youth. He also mentioned India's G20 Presidency, emphasizing the nation's efforts in financial inclusion, skill development, education, and housing, aligning with global standards, inclusivity, and excellence in growth.

Saurabh Pandey highlighted India's rapid progress in soft power, bilateral relations, Ayush, education, technology, agriculture, and more, aligning with 'Amrit Kaal ka Bharat' aspirations. The lecture was followed by a panel discussion involving the Honorable Governor and guests from industry, academia, and government. They covered topics like industry, tourism, academia's role, climate change, and more. 

The discussion was moderated by Sunil Parekh, a senior industry veteran and advocate for startups, also known as the founding curator of AGS by WEF Geneva.
