What is the Eligibility Criteria for Gramin Dak Sewak posts
Age Limit
The minimum age to apply for GDS post is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 40 years as on August 05, 2019. The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC categories.
Education Qualification
Applicants must have qualified class 10th with Mathematics and English as elective subjects through any recognized Board in India. They should have studied local language up to 10th standard as compulsory subject.
Fee Details
Male candidates from OC/OBC/ EWS categories should pay Rs 100 for each set of 5 options. Fee is exempted for all the female candidates and PwD candidates. Payment of application fee payment can be made by visiting any Head Post Office or recognized Post Offices in India.
Fee can also be paid via online mode using the URL given in the Home Page. Candidates can also pay through Credit or debit cards or Net Banking.
