Animal husbandry is one of the most emerged and best income sources in the country. A huge number of farmers from different states have turned out to this field. They are also offered different types of financial aid. Now, the Jharkhand state government is offering a 90 percent of subsidy on buying a cow. 

The benefit is given to farmers under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana. In Jharkhand, farmers can buy milch cows at just 10 percent of the total amount. The benefit is offered under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana. Through this scheme, women associated with cattle rearing will be provided with a subsidy of 90 percent by the Jharkhand government. Also, people of all other categories can avail 75 percent subsidy.

Who Can Apply? 

To take advantage of the Livestock Development Scheme, it is necessary to be a resident of the state. Only cattle herders or farmers can take advantage of this scheme. For this, the applicant should have basic infrastructure related to animal husbandries like the arrangement of space and water.

How to apply?

This scheme is available and offered to the farmers of Jharkhand state districts. The state government says that this grant will assist farmers in increasing the production of cow dung, organic farming, and natural farming. Farmers interested in the scheme can apply from the official website of Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana. Also, farmers can visit the registered office of the Cow Development Officer.

Just like Jharkhand, the Madhya Pradesh government is also taking all the potential measures to connect people from different communities like Bharia, Biaga, and Saharia.

The government is offering two cows or buffalo for free to the families of the society. Additionally, the state government is bearing 90 percent of the cost of the fodder to these animals.
