Krishi Jagran organized the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' today at the Seminar Hall, S.G. College of Agriculture and Research Station, Kumhrawand, Jagdalpur. The event, themed 'Maximize Farmers' Income for Prosperous Bharat,' was held in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bastar, supported by Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur, and ICAR as the knowledge partner. The Utsav attracted progressive millionaire farmers and industry experts, all dedicated to advancing the farming community through the latest practices and innovations. R.S. Netam, Dean of SGCARS, Jagdalpur, graced the event as the chief guest.
The day commenced with participant registration, followed by a welcome address from Sujeet Pal, Social Media Head at Krishi Jagran, setting the stage for a series of insightful discussions and success stories.
Raja Ram Tripathi, MFOI Ambassador, shared an inspiring success story of MFOI farmers, igniting optimism among the attendees. Dr. D.C. Salam, a scientist at SGCARS, Jagdalpur, presented his views on disease management in paddy, particularly relevant to the Bastar region.
Dr. Kamal Kishor Kashyap, a local farmer, also shared his success story, further motivating the audience. Chiranjivee Sharma from Mahindra Tractors discussed the importance of tractor maintenance and innovations in the tractor industry. He showcased various tractor models, highlighting their features, government subsidies, and guarantees. He invited farmers to see demonstrations of the latest models at an outdoor camp or visit the showroom near Indravati bridge in Jagdalpur.
Following these presentations, the Krishi Jagran team distributed certificates to progressive farmers, acknowledging their achievements and contributions.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Priyanshu Singh, followed by a group photograph, marking a successful day dedicated to empowering the farming community and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
