LOTS Wholesale Solutions, a part of the USD 50 billion Charoeo Pokphaod Group (CP Group) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Siam Makro Public Company Limited popularly known as Siam Makro from Thailand has stepped in India with the unveiling of its wholesale distribution Centre at Netaji Subhas Place, New Delhi.
At the opening ceremony, Thailand`s Ambassador to India H.E. Chutintorn Gongsakdi showed his concern and satisfaction that the store will cater to over 50,000 registered members which include Hotels, Restaurants and Caterers (HORECA), Kirana Stores, Corporates, MSMEs and Institutions such as Government agencies, educational institutes and hospitals.
The LOTS Wholesale Solutions store is spread over an area of 50,000 square feet and is fully equipped with modern warehousing and storage facilities for its members.
The Charoen Pokphand Group which was founded in 1921 as a seed trading store for Thai Farmers has grown over the years into an integrated food production, distribution and retail business. In this modern era, it is considered one of Thailand`s Largest Private Company and one of the World`s Largest conglomerates, having Head Quarters in Bangkok with iterest spanning across agribusiness and food, retail and distribution, telecommunications, plastics, automotives, pharmaceutical, property and financial investments.
Another partner `Makro` which was established in 1988 having experience of around 30 years offers a range of food and non food items at wholesale prices to over 3 million registered members in Thailand. Having band of 15000 employees. Makro currently own and manages 113 Cash and Carry Stores, 8 Siam Frozen shops and 5 Food Shops in Thailand with 734,713 square metres of sales space and 1 Makro Cash & Carry stores in cambodia.
LOTS Wholesale Solutions will provide support to home grown brands and local suppliers. Fresh produce will be directly sourced from local farming communities, which will help farmers increase their income whilst reducing wastage during transportation and storage.

On the occasion of launch of the first store in India Tanit Chearavanont, Managing Director , LOTS Wholesale Solutions said that the registerd members of LOTS Wholesale Solutions will enjoy the benefits of a vast assortment of high-quality food and non-food products, tailored to the specific needs of the Delhi market. The store will become fully operational and cater to the customers from 19th July onwards.
The opening of the first store in New Delhi is the result of recently World Food India 2017 where in an MOU with INR 1000 cores signed with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. Hon`ble Minister of Food Processing Industries Smt Harsimrat Kaur Badal has taken the keen interest in opening of LOTS Wholesale Solutions store. There shall be 15 more such stores in India in the coming next three years.
