The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the class 10th result 2019 online. Students who appeared for the exam in April-May can check and download their result and individual mark sheet online through the official website of NIOS.
It is to be noted that, the NIOS class 10th result comes two days after the class 12th result. These exams are conducted twice a year in April-May and in October-November. However, last year 34.42% of the total students, who took the NIOS class 10th exam in April, had qualified. Hence, the pass percentage in October exam was 39.25%.
How to check NIOS Class 10th Result 2019?
Step 1: Visit the official website of NIOS @ www.nios.ac.in.
Step 2: Now, tap on the results tab.
Step 3: Fill your enrolment number and captcha code.
Step 4: Click the submit button
Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen
Step 6: Download your result and take a print out for future use.
This year, NIOS conducted the exams in March and May 2019. However, the theoretical exams began from April 2, 2019, and the practical exams were started from March 16, 2019, onwards.
Though, the dates of NIOS Class 10th and 12th exams 2019 were rescheduled to avoid clashes with the Lok Sabha Elections. The NIOS 10th Board exam 2019 was earlier scheduled to be conducted from 30th March to 29th April. Whereas, the NIOS 12th Board exams were to be begin from 2nd April to 29th April.
The institute also released an official notice regarding the changed exam dates. The NIOS conducted the exams at 2.30 pm for both Class 10 and Class 12. The practical examination dates were also revised and were started from March 16 to 20, 2019, March 21 to 25, 2019 and March 26 to 30, 2019 for different subjects. The admit cards for NIOS 10th and 12th exam 2019 were also released in the first week of March.
What is NIOS?
NIOS was set up in 1989 as an autonomous organisation by Union Human Resource Development ministry. The NIOS conducts Public exams for Secondary and Senior Secondary students twice in a year, once in April-May and tgain in October-November.
