A new training facility has been opened in Greater Noida by the CNH Industrial brand New Holland Agricultural to improve the technical proficiency of its staff, dealer teams, and customers. Tractors, harvesters, and balers can receive technical and professional training at this facility. It can currently train 75 people at once, but in the upcoming months, that capacity will rise to 90 trainees for a variety of training programmes.
As an alternative to more conventional in-field training, the knowledge centre has a virtual reality (VR) room with the newest technology to train operators. This creates a secure learning environment, especially for new operators.
On this occasion, Narinder Mittal, Managing Director of CNH Industrial – Agriculture Business, India and SAARC said, "We are proud to have developed this hi-tech training centre in India since it is the need of the hour. Our goal has always been to help our stakeholders boost the production of their farms. We are sure that the new training facility will make it easier for our staff, dealer partners, and consumers to become familiar with cutting-edge technology. Also, it is a step in the direction of customising our communications with consumers and improving our comprehension of their requirements for next product releases.”
On the facility, Michael Moore, APAC Commercial and Technical Training Manager, CNH Industrial said, “We are delighted to inaugurate our new training centre for operations of farm equipment in India. The state-of-the-art facility will help operators across India as well as our employees to understand the new technologies in the industry. We believe that the new training centre will help coach each individual across the network to make them more effective in their roles.”
For live assembly and disassembly on various tractor series, the facility offers three different training workshops. Moreover, it contains a crop solutions workshop to handle combine harvesters, square balers, and rakes, making it a unique facility that offers trainees hands-on instruction. These courses will be led by four devoted trainers for tractor operations and one for crop solution operations. They have an extensive understanding of the brand's items that are sold in India.
The new emission restrictions have caused the market for machines to evolve, and New Holland will make sure that dealer technicians have the necessary training to keep customers working in the field.
