Applicants must be a Graduate in any field of Agricultural Science / allied subjects (Food Technology)/ Biotechnology/ Fisheries/ Dairy Technology/ Forestry, Agri. Engg. / Veterinary Science/ Agri-Business/ / B.Sc. (Agri-MaCo) or graduate in any discipline. Also have Master's degree in MBA. They must have Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized board.

For Counsellor
Candidates should have completed B.A with Psychology or Social work as a subject or B.Sc. Home Science or B.Sc. They must have Master’s degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Social work or Child Development /with Human Development or Human Development & Family Studies along with minimum 1 year diploma in “Guidance and Counseling”. They should have passed Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board.

For Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Must have B.Sc.(Agriculture)/B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering)/B. Tech (IT/CA) with 60% marks. M.Sc. in Soil Science/M.Tech in I.T/MCA with 65% marks. Experience of web designing or mobile app development/GIS applications/Computer Programming is desirable.
