Railway Recruitment 2021: Apply for 1664 Apprentice Posts

Here’s a good job opportunity for those looking for government jobs. The North Central Railway has invited applications for Apprentice posts. All the eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of RRC NCR website on https://www.rrcpryj.org/ The registration process will start on 2^nd August & it will end on 1^st September, 2021. This recruitment drive will fill up 1664 vacancies in the organization.

The Apprentice will be trained in the designated trades under the Apprentice Act 1961 at various Divisions, Workshops with Jurisdiction of North Central Railways for the year 2020-21. Read below for eligibility selection process & other details below.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the exam should have matriculation or Class 10^th in 10+2 examination system passed with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from the recognized Board. However, for Trade Welder, Wireman & Carpenter the minimum educational qualification is 8^th class pass from recognized school & the National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate in the notified trade issue by NCVT/SCVT. The age limit should be between 15 years to 24 years. 

Application Fees

Candidates have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants.

Eligibility Condition

Age Criteria as on 01/09/2021

• The applicants should have 15 years of age & should not have completed 24 years of age as 01/09/2021.

• SC/ST/OBC – The upper age limit is relax able by 5 years in case of SC/ST applicants & 3 years in case of OBC Applicants.

• Person with Disability: The upper limit is relaxed by 10 years.

• Ex-servicemen: The upper age limit is relaxed up to the additional 10 years for ex- servicemen to the extent of service rendered in Defence Forces plus 3 years provided, they have put in a minimum of 6 months service at a stretch, expect Ex-Servicemen, who have already joined government service on Civil side after availing the Ex-servicemen status for the purpose of their engagement. 

Essential Qualification 

The Applicants should have passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of this notification. Therefore, 27/07/2021 as under: -

• Essential Qualification: Matriculate or 10^th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from the recognized Board. However, for the Trade Welder, Wireman & Carpenter the minimum educational qualification in 8^thClass Pass from the recognized School & the National Trade Certificate/ITI Certificate in the notified trade issue by NCVT/SCVT.

• Technical Qualification: ITI certificate/National Trade Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is compulsory is relevant trade as under: -

• Applicants whose SSC/ITI results are awaited as on the Date of Notification, therefore, 27/07/2021 are not eligible to apply.

• Applicants failed in ITI should not apply, in case any failed Applicants is engaged inadvertently, he or she will be terminated summarily from the apprenticeship training without any further notice & stipend will be recovered with interest.

• Engineering Graduates & Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for the apprenticeship in response to this notification as they are governed by a separate scheme of Apprenticeship.
