Prior to MINDA Corporation, Ravi held the position of Head of Corporate Communications at Hyundai Motor India, where he spearheaded product, corporate, and social marketing endeavors. Before this, he made significant contributions to Honda Cars India in the domain of PR and Advertising.
Minda Corporation, a prominent player in the auto components manufacturing sector, serves Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 clients across various segments in India. Notably, the company recently received approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for its proposed acquisition of an 8.79% stake in Pricol.
This strategic move follows Minda Corporation's earlier decision, announced in May 2023, to seek CCI approval to increase its stake in Pricol to up to 24.5%. The company had taken a significant step towards this goal on February 17, 2023, when it acquired a 15.7% stake in Pricol by purchasing over 1.91 crore shares from the open market.
