The Staff Selection Commission has declared the SSC Stenographer Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Results 2018-19 yesterday, 15th April 2019. Those who had written the exam can check their result from the official website of SSC i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/
The SSC Stenographer Computer-Based Exam (CBE) 2018 was held from 5th to 7th February, 2019. The CBE contained three sections i.e. General Awareness, General Intelligence, English Language & Comprehension. The exam was conducted for a total of 200 marks in which 200 questions were asked.
How to check SSC 2018 Steno Written Exam Result:
1. Log on the official website of SSC. https://ssc.nic.in/.
2. Tap on link that reads ‘SSC Steno Group C and D 2018-19 Result’.
3. Enter all required details and click the submit button.
4. Your result will be displayed on the computer screen.
5. Now you need to download and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Around 27164 applicants have qualified for the 2nd stage of selection process i.e. Document verification (DV) and Skill test. Along with the announcement of SSC Stenographer group C & D result, the commission has also declared the cutoff of the CBE. The cut off for general category applicants is 138 for Grade C & D, the cutoff of OBC candidate is 133, SC is 119 and ST is 105.
The scorecard for SSC Stenographer will be announced on 19th April, 2019. Few days back, SSC had released the answer key of SSC Stenographer 2018 on 8th March 2019.
As may as 4, 36,910 candidates had registered for the SSC Stenographer exam, out of which only 1, 85,357 (42.43%) actually appeared in the exam. Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC Stenographer exam for the recruitment Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’, NonGazetted) as well as Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) for different Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India.

The final selection of the applicant will be based on the performance in the Computer Based Examination and Skill Test. Candidates will then be allocated to various departments depending upon their merit position and the option exercised by them.
