The second edition of SUFex, the Smart Urban Farming EXPO, concluded today at Thyagaraj Stadium, INA, New Delhi. The second edition of SUFex certainly met the claims that it was to be bigger and better than the first. With the theme of "Smart Urban Farming for Sustainable Development," the event focused on how technology can be leveraged to increase productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in urban farming.

Alpha Planters: They specialize in ‘alphaponics’ which includes planters with a temperature and water regulation system to prevent water loss by trickling. They provide a range of goods, such as planter pots, plastic flower pots, and flower pots.

AgriCare Corporation: Agricare Corporation is a company that provides a comprehensive range of solutions related to plant nutrition and protection, turf seeds, turf care machinery, and garden tools. They showcased their urban farming model with five steps, alongside other products.

Amity University, Noida: The knowledge partner of the event, was present along with a variety of their research-based products. These included their protein-packed instant fish soup powder, biodegradable mulch, bio-fertilizers among others.
In addition to the exhibits, SUFex also featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops. Experts from the industry will share their insights on topics such as the role of urban farming in food security, the use of big data and AI in urban farming, and the challenges and opportunities in scaling up urban farming operations.
