The terms of the collaboration includes the joint Research Projects and Programmes, Publications & Exchanges of the staff. The focus of research shall be on agriculture, engineering and technology development on autonomous farming and energy-efficient implements.
TAFE is the Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd, a one of the leading tractor manufacturing company of India. The TAFE experts are already having experience and know the pulse of the Indian Agriculture. Accordingly, they had collaborated with the Agriculture4 Engineering Precision and Innovation (Agri-EPI) Centre of the UK based Harper Adams University (HAU). It is National Centre for Agricultural Innovation supported by the UK Government. It has been working on providing engineering and precision agriculture solutions for the agri-food industry.

The Engineering Team from TAFE have already moved into the New Agri-EPI Centre in the HAU campus to work on the centre`s first major research and development project.

The JFarm India- TAFE`s adaptive agriculture research centre shall implement the unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems and sensor technologies, and the hands- free hectare Projects.
