The UGC-NET is a national-level exam that evaluates candidates' eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions in Indian universities and colleges. The exam is given twice a year. The National Testing Agency had announced earlier the provisional and final answer key for the UGC NET exam conducted in December 2022.
To view the results, candidates must go to the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and click on the UGC-NET result link. To view their findings, they must first input their application number, date of birth, and security pin.
The result will include the candidate's score, JRF and Assistant Professor qualifying status, and the cutoff marks for each area. Candidates who register on the official website can also receive their results through SMS or email.
The NTA will also announce the NET & JRF's cut off marks. The cutoff marks are the minimal qualifying marks required for candidates to be considered for the JRF and Assistant Professor positions. The cutoff marks differ depending on the candidate's category, the subject of the exam, and the number of students who took the exam.
Candidates who qualify for JRF will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000, as well as other benefits such as an annual contingency grant of Rs 20,000, HRA, and other benefits in accordance with UGC guidelines. Candidates who qualify for the position of Assistant Professor would be eligible to teach at Indian universities and colleges.
