The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close registrations for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (1), 2025, today, December 31. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications on the official websites upsc.gov.in.
The NDA 2025 registration is open to candidates aged 16 to 19 who have either completed or are currently appearing for their Class 12 examinations. After the registration window closes, applicants will have an opportunity to make corrections to their forms from January 1 to January 7, 2025.
This year, the UPSC NDA & NA I Exam 2025 will recruit candidates for 406 positions, while the Combined Defence Services (CDS) I Exam 2025 will fill 457 vacancies. These positions are provisional and depend on the training capacities of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy.
For the National Defence Academy, vacancies is as follows:

Army: 208 positions (including 10 for female candidates)

Navy: 42 positions (including 6 for female candidates)

Air Force (Flying): 92 positions (including 2 for female candidates)

Air Force (Ground Duties - Technical): 18 positions (including 2 for female candidates)

Air Force (Ground Duties - Non-Technical): 10 positions (including 2 for female candidates)
Documents Required for NDA 1 Exam 2025 Application
Applicants must have the following documents ready:

Scanned copies of signature and photograph

Identification proof in PDF format (Aadhar card, school photo ID, voter card, PAN card, passport, driver’s license, or other government-issued photo ID)

Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets

Navigate to and select the NDA I Application Form link on the homepage.

Complete Part I of the application to initiate the registration process.

Log in using your registration number to proceed to Part II of the application.

Complete Part II, attach the required documents, and pay the application fee.

Submit the application and print a copy for your records.
Candidates who submit their forms on time can make corrections during the specified correction window. The NDA, NA, and CDS I examinations are scheduled to be conducted on April 13, 2025.
