Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday revealed plans to build the world's largest museum in Delhi. The momentous announcement was made during the inauguration of the redevelopment project for the renowned International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) 'Bharat Mandapam' at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.
What is Yuge Yugeen Bharat?
The word “Yuge Yugeen Bharat” has been taken from Sanskrit meaning ‘Everlasting India’. The museum may be spread over 1.17 lakh sq mts. The museum will have 950 rooms. It will also showcase exhibits on Indian Art, Music, Dance, Philosophy, Literature, and more.
According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that Delhi will soon house the world's largest museum, named 'Yuge Yugeen Bharat.' The announcement came during the inauguration ceremony where PM Modi passionately advocated for a third term for his government.
