  • Solvent Extractors Association of India Urges Govt. to Stop Distress Sale of Mustard Seeds.

    The Jammu and Kashmir administration has approved the implementation of the "competitiveness improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP)" with the support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is set to provide $100 million to support the implementation of the "Competitiveness Improvement of Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP)" in Jammu and Kashmir. The JKCIP project has been approved by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, and the proposal has been sent to the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) for financing through IFAD.

Dr. Sanjay Garg, Additional Secretary (DARE) & Secretary (ICAR), Dr. Alka Arora, Additional Secretary (DARE) & Financial Advisor (ICAR), Dr. A.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-IARI, and Dr. R N Padaria, Joint Director Extension were also present at the opening ceremony.
