• Govt Holds a Review Meeting to Avoid Fodder Supply Crisis in Future

  The government stated that there is no current fodder supply crisis, but that prices remain high and that measures are being taken to address any future shortages. According to a senior official, current fodder prices are in line with other agri-products, and states have not reported any shortages for the time being.

• Mahapanchayat in Shamli to Oppose Government’s Ban on Tractor-Trolleys

  Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait protested the Uttar Pradesh government's decision to ban the use of tractor trolleys for public transportation, claiming that the measure was an effort to restrict farmer movement since tractors are their preferred means of transportation. As reported, Tikait has now announced a mahapanchayat opposing the government’s move to ban tractor-trolleys. He referred to the action as "dictatorial," and he claimed that its purpose was to prevent farmers from traveling to "dharna" locations.

  Every year on October 8, Indian Air Force Day is celebrated. The Indian Air Force (IAF), also known as Bhartiya Vayu Sena, was created on October 8, 1932, in British India as an adjunct air force of the British Empire. The Indian Air Force is commemorating its 90th anniversary this year.  An 'Aakash Ganga' team of paratroopers in an AN-32 aircraft will lead off the fly-past.
